Elias Muhanna

Elias Muhanna is an Assistant Professor at Brown University. In 2011-12, he was a Non-resident Visiting Scholar at Stanford University’s Program on Arab Reform & Democracy. He is also the author of QifaNabki.com, a blog devoted to Lebanese political affairs, and has written extensively on contemporary cultural and political issues in the Middle East for several general-interest publications, including The Nation, Foreign Policy, The Guardian, The National, Mideast Monitor, World Politics Review, Bidoun, andTransition. In 2012, Muhanna will join the faculty of Brown University as an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature.
