Biography

Cheng is the Program Manager for the Fisher Family Summer Fellows on Democracy and Development and Strengthening Ukrainian Democracy and Development (SU-DD) programs at CDDRL. He joined Stanford in 2019 as the Career Services Coordinator for the Ford Dorsey Master’s in International Policy (MIP) Program and was promoted to Program Coordinator in 2020. In this role, he provided administrative and operational support across a broad spectrum of areas, including student services, events, admissions, and finances.

Prior to joining Stanford, Cheng was a Global Ambassador in Taiwan on the Taiwan-United States Sister Relations Alliance (TUSA) Scholarship Program, where his global research project focused on comparing the recycling policies of the United States and Taiwan. He holds a bachelor's degree in International Business from the University of California, San Diego, and is Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certified. A native of the Bay Area, he appreciates the unique California climate, enjoys playing and watching sports, and nurtures a growing passion for music as an aspiring self-taught pianist.
