Let's Talk Ukraine: A Discussion of Current Events with UELP Fellows

Please join the Ukrainian Emerging Leaders Program to meet the third cohort of fellows. The event will be followed by a reception and networking from 5:30-7:00pm. The event will include short presentations from the following leaders: 
 
Kateryna Bondar, reform coordinator for social reform in the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. In her role she is responsible for the coordination of pension reform development. She will be working on innovation ecosystem development while at Stanford.
 
Artem Romanyukov, anti-corruption activist with the NGO Civil Control Platform. Romanyukov will be our first fellow who is based outside of Kyiv, in Dnipro. His project will focus on institutionalizing anti-corruption in the judiciary and law enforcement bodies. 
 
Pavel Vrzheshch, Co-founder and creative director of Banda Agency, whose mission is Ukraine internationally known worldwide. He will be working on a project to improve communications between the government and general public during his time at Stanford. 
 
The Emerging Leaders will be introduced by Ambassador Michael McFaul, Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, and will be moderated by Francis Fukuyama, Mosbacher Director of the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law.
