Oscar Parra Castellanos is a journalist specializing in digital media with 10 years of experience writing on politics and human rights issues. He is also a professor of journalism and digital tools for journalists in the Universidad del Rosario in the city of Bogota, Colombia. Parra Castellanos has developed several journalism databases with information about the Colombian drug war, and Colombian politicians related to paramilitary groups or involved in corruption. He holds a master's degree in journalism from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, and a bachelors degree in computer engineering from Universidad del Rosario, in Bogota, Colombia.
